Right i am really worried i might be pregnant!! I lost my virginity 2 weeks before i was due for my period.I took the morning after pill But after having sex i bled for a week. Does this mean i come on my period? I never come on when i was due and the last time i come on was 2 weeks before my period and bled when i had sex( 2 weeks after my period) i havn't had a period since and am about a week late if i calculate from when i had sex. Or if i calculate 2 weeks before i had sex i have actually missed a period. I really don,t want to be pregnant please help me. Does anyone know if taking the after pill is why i am late for my period?

Just take a home pregnancy test. It is always possible that you are pregnant. But I doubt that you are because you took the 'morning after pill' and you were having irregular periods anyway. Did you used any other contraceptive method? Like condoms or something else? Always use condoms to protect yourself from HIV.

flower girl agony auntThe best thing to do is get a pregnancy testing kit, it could be the worry that is delaying your period or it could be the emergency contraceptive, failing that go to see your gp and get them to do a test for you set your mind at rest either way.

Take care.xx.

cd206 agony auntIt could be. I think the morning after pill can be responsible for your period being up to 10 days late. It's hard to tell whether your bleed was from a period, your hymen breaking or rough sex or even the hormonal changes brought about by taking the M.A.pill. The best thing you can do is take a test if your period is more than 3 days late and see the doctor whatever the result, for advice if you are or to go on the regular daily pill if you're not. Keep sex safe. You're at risk of babies and diseases if not.
