writes:been texting this lass for about 2 weeks now, i added her on facebook cos my mate said he saw and reconised her when she was in the shop were he works, cos she was fit , added her and got talking threw a few chat up lines in, i got some back, and gave her my number, she text me the following day , got talking and flirting, stop texting cos she didnt reply , n i dont text girls twice, so left it at that. i then saw her at a bus stop so i text her asking if it was her (this was 2-3days later from when she didnt reply) it was her got talking again, i told her how hot she looked, and she was texting me, no joke, like 7 lines of texts it was like reading a novel :P, so i naturaly thought she was interested in me, because she was flirting with me and she genuinly seemed interested, alot of flirting and the conversations never died out, allways had something to text back, she stopped texting randomly again so i ditn start to pest her. so i thought i wanna try meet up with her, get to know her a bit better and such. so on facebook ther is a app kinda thing called 'ask.fm' where you can ask anonymous questions, so i thought ill break the ice over their, i threw a couple of lines in i had all ready told her so she had a idea it was me, and i asked her ' so when do i get the privilage of meeting you ;)?' she replyed 'oooooo i dont know ;)' clearly knew it was me so i text her saying when do i get to see you then, i cant remember the reply but it wasent what i was hoping for so i said, (we were still flirting, it wasent that negative and depressing) thursday friday or saturday? your choice ;) she was at cadet camp thingy on friday-saturday and suday at work, so i thought fair enough ill leave it at that, she knows ther is some interest from me, so we stopped texting for a couple of days, this time randomly and out of the blue she text me (she never texts first) saying 'come give me a lift :( ;) x' i was at work so i couldnt and told her , chatting her up aswell, so we got talking again and she was teasing me saying u cudda got a hug and other rewards from her if id have given her a lift, so i went along with the flow flirted back saying she wishes , teasing her back, we texted from about 11 in the morning to about 8 at night (wich is quite an achievement cos i usualy get bored, alot of flirting and teasing was going on). then all of a sudden she doesnt reply again!!!! just when i got my hopes up thinking she must have atleast the slightest interest in me? now im confused and dont know if im reading to much into it? i hate texting twice, especialy if i ask her a question or ther is a quality convo going on and im waiting for a reply, cos i think shes either busy or cant text for what ever reason, so i respect that and dont want to come across as a pest or impatient, but in the end, i never get the text back i wanted. basicly from what you have read, what is the best thing i can do? i really want to meet her, maybe if we like each other work on her for a date, and for a relationship, how do i go about that? ive planted the seed so to speak , she knows i want to meet her, but i havent yet directly asked her do u want to meet on such and such day at this time blah blah for a drink,i personaly think that is to soon, and i prefer to bring it up in a convosation and not just a random text, so what shall i do? does she sound interested? how do i go about it? if you are a girl amd i doing somthing wrong? and adive would be much appreciated :) thank you!

reader, anonymous, writes (7 December 2012): she's probably just occupying her time by texting you. it's a good way to pass the day. i do that all the time. doesn't mean anything if she blows you up for hours straight. she's probably just bored. like i said, i do that quite frequently. then again, if you could find a way to meet her and get to know her, it might change things drastically. she might wind up liking you and that might change the circumstances.
if i were you, i wouldn't get my hopes up.

have you ever asked her what she thinks of you? like look wise? maybe ask her what's your favorite feature about me? Also, i think you should be straight up with her. Say i enjoy talking to you and i would love to get to know you a little better and ask if she wants the same, and say something like i would love to chill when you the chance. Goodluck to you
