Hey there cutie - when others have a go at you for some physical characteristic its usually based on their own insecurities. Bet the lads who tease you keep a tape measure handy and worry when it only read 3cms when it should read 3inches at best LOL :)) Oooooh I am a meany. There is a saying thats well rehearsed - its not what you got, its whats you do with it.

Normally applies to a male, if you get my drift. When I was at school (sometime last century) I was flat chested and very skinny. Not only did I get teased about my non-existance chest from about age 14, all through school and into college, but I was teased about my thinness, 'hey whats that dangling from your skirt.... oh sorry its your legs' or 'mind that grid, don't fall down it' or ' don't turn sidewards behind that lampost, we can't see you'.

I hated it all, but guess who has the last laugh. Am in the second half of a century old, size 8-10 and I now have a body to die for, well so I am told by all those who people who mocked me. I am well proportioned and slim - I could eat a cake shop and laugh at those who put weight on by looking.

I model clothes for older ladies!!! So just rememeber 2 things - firstly those that mock you WILL have their own insecurities, and, 2 give youself time, maybe buy a padded bra while you mature - less expensive and damaging than any other options.

DrPsych agony auntI agree with the others - your body is still developing and may change shape throughout your life. If the boys didn't target your chest...it would be something else. You have to look at things this way...they wouldn't tease you if they didn't like you really and you didnt stand out from the crowd for being exceptional in some way (and I dont mean your chest size!) - they probably think you are lovely and need knocking down because they are emotionally years behind girls at 14! Even if you don't grow an enormous pair don't worry! There was a girl who posted about her FF cup problem a few weeks ago...she was sick of guys coming after her just for that and I bet she got a bad back with carrying those around too. Point your head high in the sky and be proud of the body you have!

A female reader, b3x United Kingdom +, writes (27 August 2006):

b3x agony auntHey honey!

Listen, your alright don't worry! If everyone had breasts at 14 I'm afraid of what the world might turn into! I'll let you know this...I'm 19 and consider myself as very flat chested!

You know why? My mother is a very slim person and my grandmother too, so its just been passed onto me! I may not have physical assests but I have better ones than that, my mother passed on her emotion to care for people, to look out for others. I'll tell you this, I'd have these traits anyday over a pair of boobs!

Everyone is different, I doubt I'll be getting a decent set at my age now as I've passed the whole pubity thing but your only 14! Your prob still going through it all! So what if these lads call you names, Did you know lads are behind when it comes to pubity compared to girls?

So I bet none of their voices have broken yet!

Don't go resorting to drastic measures like having a boob job! There are loads of things out there now, like chicken fillets or even padded bras (my fav!)You'll find out one day that boys like boobs, men however like you as a person, my boyfriend has always said a hand full is a waste!

Don't let thses guys get to you, I bet you have a million more better quailities to give! Take care xx

A female reader, bonym United Kingdom +, writes (27 August 2006):

bonym agony auntI would not recommend implants at your tender age, you are stil developing, I was the same at your age, I hated it, but in time they just grew naturally, now I wish they were smaller because then men would look at my face and not my chest sometimes. I wear gel bras or padded ones, they work wonders, and they are not uncomfortable, just the same as wearing a regular bra. Dont worry. xXx

A female reader, anonymous, writes (27 August 2006):

she said she's only 14, implants?!?! she just hasn't hardly hit puberty yet, that's why!! my lord. just give her some time to ALLOW them to grow. anyway, don't listen to that last response. that's ridiculous. i don't really think you have to do anything in particular. boys are just obnoxious at that age and annoying. so don't worry, they will grow out of it. as for your breasts, i also promise that they will grow eventually, too. just give them some time. but if you do feel so inclined to do something about it now, you could always get a padded bra. those always help. or you could always just tell the boys to shut up because they have small willies...it's just easier for them to hide it.

A female reader, Jadzia1127 United States +, writes (27 August 2006):

Jadzia1127 agony aunt All girls 'blossom' at different ages. Some don't get breast until 16yrs or even later. A reputable surgeon will not do breast augmentation until after you're done developing.

The best thing to do is to ignore the boys, yet I know that is a hard thing sometimes to do. So you could go with the padded bra, report the sexual harassment to the school, or/and learn a few quick come backs,

like:

Save your breath. You'll need it to blow up your date

I'm trying to imagine what you would look like with a personality.

What am I? Flypaper for freaks?

I may be flat, but you're ugly.

If I agreed with you we'd both be wrong.

here's a some more....

14 is a very tough age, good luck.
