A female Canada age 30-35, anonymous writes:

Hello aunts,

I am in a new relationship and my bf does not reply promptly to my text messages and it makes me thinks if he is just "using" me (we have had sex). Its not like he dosent reply at all but it just feels like whenever he has free time or dosent do anything better that he replies to my messages.

Eg:- Day before he messaged me at 11:30pm asking "hey, sweetie how are you"?, I was studying so i replied back in half an hour and then we kept messaging till 1am. Then yesterday he messaged again asking "hey how was your exam" coz I have my sem exams going on. I replied back saying "I just got over with it and It didnt go that well and I am upset and mad at myself", I expected a reply saying "dont worry" or something like that but NEVER GOT ONE yet. Its been the next evening since yesterday and no messages. It hurts sometimes, How much time would one short sweet message take to reply!!!

What do you all think? Does he even care about me? Coz sometimes I feel he does or why would he message asking how I was or how did my exam go but then why dosent he bother to reply ONE short message? What do I do? He has an exam too tomorrow, I see him going on facebook and stuff so its not that HE HAS NO TIME TO GET OUT OF HIS BOOKS, i thought of sending him a "good luck" message, should I??? I really want to but my brain tells me not to! What do I do??
