This is not a question i know i just think it should be put out there to all children who are considering having/planning/keeping a baby.

Literally 10 minutes ago, the lunchtime news was on and broadcast on there was the story of a 13 year old boy and his 15 year old girlfriend who became parents earlier this week.

I am not making this up, i've even found one of the many links from google ..

http://www.thesun.co.uk/sol/homepage/news/article2233878.ece

please read this..it should not encourage you to have a baby.

I was absolutely astonished..when the boy was asked about what a good dad should do, he replied, ''make sure i change it and feed it''

He was then asked, how are you going to support it financially? He said..''what does financially mean?'' When explained it meant how was he going to afford it, he replied after a silence..''i don't know''.

After reading the article, he admits he doesnt know how much nappies cost.

Whats astonishing is the fact that they didn't even tell their parents until 18 weeks into the pregnancy after concerns over her weight-gain. But they found out when she was initially 12 weeks pregnant and kept it a secret.

I find this stark raving bonkers.

To all children (yes you are classed as children) aged 16 or under, please let this be a warning of what can happen when you have illegal, underage and unprotected sex.

This story has actually sparked quite an interest, but for all the wrong reasons, our government commented saying ''it is disturbing how children are having children, why were they thinking of parenthood at such a young, young age?''

Please, at the least, use protection..but why your having sex at such a young age i don't know..are you ready to become parents?

(If anyone would like to add to this then feel free i just think its crazy, once again apologies that its more of a discussion and not a question.)

I don't get why a 12 year old and a 15 year old would want to have sex! I agree with Sweety Pie, I didn't even know what sex was then! I saw the picture and the baby's head is almost as big as the fathers. If he is the father. I think he might not be because how could he be that developed at 12 years of age? I read that his voice hasn't even dropped yet. x

anon642 agony auntYeah i agree, and i've just signed onto msn and this article came up..

Basically theres a possibility of 2 other fathers.

I still think its unbelievable, this girl has been having unprotected sex illegally with these 3 boys.

Somethings got to be done. Sex education is appauling, i'm 18 and although i read things on here and get shocked at how little children know..i still find that even at my age i'm learning stuff, and as far as i'm concerned i think i should know this sort of stuff, but then i look at my sex education and the only thing i was ever taught in school was how to put a condom on (nurse put a condom on a banana, took a total of 5 minutes with all the explaining and then she left) and that was in year 9 (aged 13-14) and then i got taught about menstruation, wet dreams and puberty in year 6 (aged 10-11) but apart from that i honestly don't think i was taught anything else by a nurse/teacher.

SirenaBlusera agony auntI looked at the article just now and I don't believe that kid is the father of the baby. Not everything in the news is true, and how do we know that this kid is the father?

I doubt it. Perhaps the couple said they had sex exclusively with each other, but no one was THERE. None of us know what really happened.

I worry that this girl who gave birth may have been a victim of incest and she blamed the boyfriend (Alfie) because the real perpetrator threatened her if she told. I'm not saying that's what happened. Just conjecture. But, there's no way this kid is the father. This paper is trippin.'

SirenaBlusera agony auntI can't believe that the child is the father of that baby. The poor little thing needs to be put up for adoption. There's no way those parents are prepared to provide the baby's most basic needs, and every baby deserves to have the best of everything.

Is it 100% certain that this kid is the father of the baby? I don't think it's plausible that a boy who is 13 and looks 12 or so could have a baby. I think that a paternity test should be administered.
