writes:there is this guy i've known for 2 years...and i feel this real strong soulmat-y connection with him..as in we generally think on the same wavelength.the problem is that he's 11 years older than me...and has a gf.earlier i used to think he loved me as a sister but...never really got brotherly vibes from him..umm does holding hands and placing arm round shoulders and playing with my hair always..really count as brotherly??he never does such stuff with his gf..and doesnt also tret her like he's in love with herplus i cant talk to him about it.if somehow i could find out how he felt about me .it would be settled once for all and i could or could not move on,as the case may bethanks for reading.

 sounds to me like he loves you hun and i think hes waiting for you to make the move because he would have already. Yeah he has a gf but he oviously doesnt love her as much as you.
You have to think do you love him and do you want a realtionship with him before you take it any futher.
Talk to him it's the only way get it of your chest and see how he replys take it from there.

Well it certainly looks like he cares a great deal about you love, But I wouldnt like to say if his feelings are in a romantic way for sure as I just dont no, To touch your hair and stuff would give me the impression that he is more than just a brotherly friend, My brothers pull mine..As he has a g/f its hard to say what he is feeling as in my mind if he wanted to be with you he may show it in the way he acts but he isnt saying anything which could be fear of loosing your frienship but then it could be just because he cares for you, I have male friends who sit and give me a hug but thats all it is and I no that without a shadow of a doubt, You could ask him hunny but then you must be prepared for a no or a shock in thinking this way and then your friendship may suffer, But then he could feel the same, Its a very hard decition to make as he is already spoken for. I dont really no if this has helped much as its very confusing for you hunny and I can see why, expecially when you have a strong soulmate feeling for this person..I do hope you can sort this out and everything is ok with you two no matter what the outcome.
