Any ideas on how to liven up the sex life with my older boyfriend? He says he is far too old for sex!

I am 45 and my boyfriend is 57 and been with him 4 months and everything at first was fine until he kept on saying that he is too old for this too old for that and sex is soo boring that I am not surprised that I have not fallen asleep during it any ideas what to do to liven it up in the bedroom thought about buying some nice gear to wear in bed but get the feeling that it wont be worth it and my auntie thinks that his ex-wife has something to do with how he is as they divorced over 10 years ago after she left him for another man 20 years her junior and I havwe tried talking to him but he just says that he is far too old for sex.

I wonder if he worries that he wont be up to your standards where sex is concerned and that you will leave him for somebody your own age and get sex there but talk to him first telling him that you have needs.

YouWish agony auntThe first question that hit my mind was - what medication is he on? Blood pressure, antidepressants, opioids, all of them suck the sex life out the window.

That's a toughie when it's 4 months in and he's saying that sex is boring. You may have a sexless relationship if he's fine with not doing anything to change.

I'd be curious to know if he's a porn user, because if sex is boring as he says, he may have a performance issue in regards to ED.

Your answer isn't in making yourself any prettier. The situation starts and ends with him.
