I habitually wear the same 'style' of clothes. I have four pairs of jeans exactly the same. And I always wear my hiking boots (I have broken my ankles several times and the boots support my orthotics well).
I've had a few gripes from girls, but I refer to it as my uniform. They don't seem to appreciate that, and want a guy who wears slacks (dress pants)
I am very much in my comfort zone with my clothing but gradually as I get to trust a girl, I'll let her choose out tops for me to wear, which we can both agree on as suitable for my personality and taste.
I think variety is important but be yourself.
How often does your gf change her hairstyle on dates??

A different top would be fine, and you dont have to buy a new one for every date just alternate, smelling nice is something girls like, but dont lash it on. good luck x
