writes:I dated a guy three years ago and although we live in different countries we've stayed in touch. When we dated there was a huge amount of chemistry, we couldnt keep our hands off each other. I didnt feel important to him, i never met him on weekends, i never met his friends. I am 3 years older, he is very handsome, tall and intelligent. I thought that at the time too and finished it, after he took me to see a show and because i was insecure i broke it off. We still hooked up a few times after, it was going nowhere and i moved to a different country. When i left he cried, i was shocked, he always avoided emotion with me. We've been in touch for two years on and off, mostly for phone sex, he has been on a trip around the world for a year and is due back soon. We've been in touch a lot recently and he is now on route home. When he last called he was meeting up with girls he travelled with before for the last leg of the journey. He keeps talking about what he wants to do with me sexually when we see each other, but hasnt mentioned anything else. Is this guy interested in me or am i pinning my hopes on someone who will never be serious with me?

 It doesn't really seem like he's interested. But however you really need to talk with him, find out where he stands. Ask him how he feels about you, and where he wants your relationship to go. You both need to talk to each other.
