writes: I've been totally messed up from my ex, she is all i think about and i miss her soo much even though its been 8mnths or so since we broke up as she was my first love, but this new girl im seeing lives 5 doors down from her, is it a good idea to get inviolved with her,she seems really nice and i dont want to let what happened before spoil things, i'm just worried that everytime i'm with her i'm gonna be thinking of my ex 'cause of the closness to her. This probabbly sounds really stupid. lol

reader, anonymous, writes (27 February 2008): It shouldnt even matter if she lives next door, but do make sure that you are not in the rebound period and your new gf get strung along for the ride. Dont be doing any tit for tat stuff either or this can get very messy. If you want to be with this new gf then stop even thinking about the ex and move on. Blot her out of your life completely.

 well hun just make sure that you are ready to be dating again - you dont want to be stringing this new girl along while lusting after someone else - that doesnt sound fair does it? however if you are ready to start seeing this girl then dont let the location of her house affect you!! try and move on from this girl and start afresh, its fairly obvious that nothing is going to be rekindled so why put yourself through the pain?
