A female United Kingdom age 30-35, anonymous writes:

right well basically, I'm 16, (17 in 3 weeks) and I've been with my boyfriend for almost 7 months, he's 20, so he's almost 4 years older than me, but that's irrelevant. :) I was 14 when I got my first real boyfriend, and we were together for 14 months we were both 15 when he took my virginity, I didn't bleed, I was sexually active with him for about 5 months, and I never bled, it was slightly uncomfortable the first few times, but nothing major.

I've been with my current boyfriend for 6 1/2 months and he's amazing, we recently had sex for the first time, (I'd not had sex since last August) and had only slept with my ex beforehand, and he is pretty 'intact' he's fairrllyy biigg, and it hurt, a lot. We've done it twice now, the first time hurt, and the second time hurt even more and I bled!

After my essay what I'm trying to ask is.. I never had this problem with my ex, so why is sex with my current boyfriend so painful? Will this last much longer? cos it's at the point where I want to cry when he puts it inside me... and we keep on getting a bit carried away with heated moments and I have to stop cos I get scared! Sorry about the long question, but thanks for reading :) x

A female reader, always here United States +, writes (6 April 2009):

well maybe you should tell him it hurts so you can try something different. you guys could just be taking it to hard. i think the first writer was right you should talk to your mom or doc if it gets to bad.

sex, is something you should take very seriously and if the pain gets to bad you need to get it ckecked out. hope this helps a little good luck. **

A male reader, answeringmachine United States +, writes (6 April 2009):

You will just have to take time to get used to it again, and to his size. It is probably just some nervousness along with not being used to it. Use a lot of foreplay and be sure to be VERY relaxed and it should get easier to do. If you need any more advice you can message any of us, good luck, hope things get better soon, I know that's frustrating.

this happen with me when i was 18 but my discomfort came from me having endometriosis. I know this might sound crazy but you may want to talk with your mom at the right time of course. someone may have a better reason for the pain. I didn't want to cry i actually did cry.
