writes:Well, I being keeping in touch with this military guy for a year and half. I met him in one of his duties before he left to Italy. I emailed him since and stayed in contact even when he was finally moved to the US on November 2007.Right now, he´s on deployment and we still maintain in touch.We are friends.He said he enjoys it and our communications, and always seem so nice to me and caring.I left fo vacation in Georgia 2 weeks ago, return this Monday. Before I left he told me he got left less than 30 days to return home in Kansas base.He wished me to take care on my trip. I said I post something when I get back, and so I did, but he hasn´t replied. I emailed again yesterday, so to wish him safe trip home and no reply.Is it that maybe he left already, b/c my calculations he had time still.Why would he disappear after so long? Should I write to him to Kansas in a month or so to check on him? What U think?

He's in the military so he will move around a LOT at short notice.
He could be anywhere right now, posted to a place with no internet yet, on a last minute holiday with his mates, or in a ditch in a field somewhere doing training.
Get on with your life and he'll get in touch when he can.
