But we text each other.It has now been a week since we have been texting - everyday - but I am wondering how long it will take him to actually ask me out? or even call me? shall I give him another week and initiate something myself?Is he even interested in me - but then why would he text me and carry on texting me everyday?I have tried to hint to him and give him opportunity to ask me out, is it just he is shy, or waiting for the right time maybe he thinks its too soon?I don't know...please help :)

 He is probably just taking time to get to know you to see if he is interested or not. He probably just doesn't want to rush things. Just enjoy texting him and see if there are any hints at all that he is interested. I would give it another while just to see how you both get on.

Does this guy know anything about you besides the content of your texting conversations? If he doesn't know much about you he may still be trying to determine if he's interested. I'd give him another week if he's still texting you but hasn't asked you out, ask him if he'd like to meet for coffee or something.
