writes:hey everyone , ive posted quite a few relationship questions on here my lastest one has nothing to do with what im about to ask im just looking for a male perspective on my situation.okay so me and my boyfirend have a group of 2 other couples that we hang out with all the time , and for both of there one years there boyfriends got them promise rings.my and my boyfriend have been together for over a year now and he stil hasnt got me one , i was thinking i would maybe get one for valentines day but no such luck there , i was just wondering if you think that he didnt get me one because A. he didnt want to copy everyone else B. he dosent actully want to spend his life with meor C. he dosent think i want one.im not like completely upset about it or anything i was just wondering why im the only one left without one.so males if u can post an answer that may help please do so and females comment of u like :) Reply to this Question

a) knows what a promise ring is
b) likes the idea behind promise rings
Just because he hasn't given you one it doesn't mean he cares for you any less, and it doesn't mean he doesn't care about your and his future. My parents have been married for 25 years and they'll be together for life, but dad didn't get mum one. They just decided to stay together.
Stop thinking that you absolutely need one for your relationship. Just enjoy being with him. Relationships are based on what the two people have together and feel for each other - they're not based on things like rings.
