writes:hiya,im in love with my partner and adore him, he has said he is more comfortable with me than anyone, and i feel the same about him.but for some reason whenever i ask how things are, or what hes up to for the weekend he lies about what hes doing? he seems annoyed whenever i mention his mates? i get the feeling he thinks i dont like him with friends, but it doesnt bother me im glad he enjoys himself?i should probably mention that we live a 2 hours drive apart so dont see each other too often at the moment, and i dont really have friends, my friends are my family really.any advice or ideas as to why he lies or gets angry,thanks Reply to this Question

 usually folks that get angry when asked questions are hiding something.
perhaps he has a lady friend that he feels strongly about...
I hate to say this but a 2 hour drive is NOTHING, my husband and I did that for a year until he moved to be with me.
I would drive up to him on Thursday night or friday afternoon and leave monday morning to go to work most weekends....
once we were serious we saw each other every weekend..,
my married friends who live two hours apart see each other 3 out of 4 weekends...
his getting angry is not a good thing... I sense he's hiding something...
