 Because it's somewhat annonymous, kind of like phone sex. You don't really know the person on the other end of the line and she doesn't know you. Somehow this breaks down the barriers for normal, respectable behavior. Go figure. You won't find any lastiing relationships in a chat room, you're lucky if you're not actually chatting with inmates, posing to be living the life they described to you. Have fun with it, but don't take it serously. If you get sick of the dirty talk, get out. It's pretty simple; if you don't want the telemarketers hounding you, then don't pick up your phone when they call.

 Come on you know the answer to this question, because guy's in internet chat rooms are horny perverts and internet predators. Stay out of the chat rooms. What comes first is the man with a problem, what comes next is he shows up in a chat room and trolls the internet until he can find a woman willing to engage in dirty chats, he's hoping for a hook up.
