writes:I just saw a picture of my ex-boyfriend- we broke up (I did the breaking) THREE years ago. I was with another guy for two and a half years! Still hung up on him. So, why did the picture of my former boyfriend with his girlfriend upset me? It really got me down! WHY! I definitely do NOT feel anything for him anymore- I do not even care if he is in my life or not! What's wrong with me that I am feeling this way? It completely ruined my day, and I was having such a good one! :(

 Perhaps you are feeling lost in your own life (or love life) right now and the picture made you reminisce about the times you and he had. So naturally, thinking of that, you'd be jealous of the other woman. But really, you're just wishing you had that picture in your life right now (even if it isn't him, but another guy). I might be way off base here, but have you considered this?
