writes:I dont get a lot of attention from boys back home. I keep my body in shape, and wear nice clothes and my friends say that I am really pretty and my hairdresser asked me to model. Anyway, I went on holiday to Turkey, and got all this attention from all the guys I saw. I know they have a reputation for being sleazy, but sometimes they just went up to me, gave me a rose and then disappeared and I never saw them again! I was flattered. Anyway, I met a guy on holiday, typical holiday romance. Since then, I can't stop thinking about dark skinned guys! Before I went on holiday, I thought I was bi-curious, because I wasn't attracted to guys very much, and I looked at women sometimes. Now I really want to be around dark skinned, dark eyes, dark haired guys! I just find them so handsome and hot! It might be because I got attention from a place that was full of dark skinned guys or maybe because I find my opposite attractive (I have pale skin, blonde hair and blue eyes)?I'm just confused as to why they had a huge effect on me because now if I see a darker skinned guy down the street or on tv im suddenly so interested. Im just confusedOr it might be that I am a raging hormonal teenager?! So my question is, why am I only attracted to dark guys? And how can I stop thinking about them as much? I know its a bit of a stupid question but I need to talk about this with someone!Thanks :)

I am pretty much the same as you. I am 19 and white(very white haha) have blonde hair, blue eyes etc. I do like white men... but I am more attracted to black men. However I think that is because I share a flat with 2 of them! One of them I have had a fantasy about having sex with since I moved in and we ended up in bed with each other the other night but I said I didn't want us to have sex because I know that it will be awarkward cuz I have got to live with him! As much as I wanted to. I think I like them cuz in general they are quite muscley and have gorgeous bodies! Not forgetting what they are known for haha!

 Well you have answered your own question! you are attracted to dark skinned guys because of your experiences on holiday.
I had a black skinned boyfriend in the past and after we broke up i was so attracted to black skinned men for at least a year.
and when i went on holiday to spain, i found spanish guys very attractive afterwards.
Its normal!

nah im kidding, but i dont understand why this is a problem?
Maybe because of the way you have been treated by guys in the UK and the majority being white makes you think they are all bad and no use to pay attention.
Whereas you see the guys with darker skin more attractive because you are not used to the attention so associate the two.
Dw, my ex was white and a D***, my current boyfriend is much darker than me and im more interested in guys who are darker because he is lovely.
Dont see it as a problem! You were flattered on holiday by a darker guy, and white guys arent paying attention, so you may think darker guys are the way to go

Haha, hey, this happened to me once too!!! When I was younger I was not attracted to black men at all; I could not figure out why and it was something I consciously realized. I just figured that dark skin, to me, was like being fat to other people, or wearing ugly clothes or...whatever, you get the idea. It was just unattractive to me, for one reason or another.
Then, when I was sixteen (2 years ago) that ALL changed! An older, black gentleman joined our political campaign office and as soon as I saw him, my jaw hit the floor. He was smokin'....and he was black.
Since then, I've been super attracted to black men in general, and have only dated black men. It's normal; it happened to me, too.
Just thought I'd tell you that you're not the only person out there that this has happened to!! lol! :) Don't sweat it. I remember being confused about why the eff I was suddenly so attracted to black men, too, but eventually just gave up on trying to figure it out and enjoyed my new tastes. :)
