A male reader, anonymous, writes (16 July 2013):

It might have a slight smell like pee, but it does not taste like pee. It is more of a neutral smell and taste. Pee, depending on the time of day and how much you have had to drink can be very strong or almost clear and mild in color, odor, and taste.

A reader, anonymous, writes (15 July 2013):

Dear OP,

I also read (and experienced) that female ejaculate comes out of the pee-hole. I think it can faintly smell like urine, although it rather smells neutral. I think person12345 explained the mechanism correct.

Anyway, I can't squirt by myself. Masturbation is not going to get me there. It only happens during very intense sex when I've got an orgasm. And before it happens it feels a little like I need to pee. But the way it comes out is different, in little pulses, not a stream.

So in the end, I can't tell you if that was squirt, this mechanism is also a bit confusing to me. So I don't try to make it happen, I just let it happen those few moments when it comes to me naturally.

person12345 agony auntActually I have to disagree with youwish on this one, female ejaculation does seem to come from the skene gland but goes through the urethra, not the vagina. Most studies have found small amounts of the chemicals in urine in ejaculate. It is normal to small a little like urine, but it should be faint.

If you ejaculate it doesn't feel like emptying your bladder and is usually involuntary. If you are straining and pushing it's probably urine.

A female reader, anonymous, writes (15 July 2013):

I'm a mental health nurse, and I can only comment The actual percentage of females who ejaculate is uncertain. However, in Masters and Johnson's famous lab experiments with over 400 women, they did not record anyone who ejaculated at climax.

Nevertheless, the experience of gynaecologists and family planning doctors indicates there is a substantial minority of women who do ejaculate regularly. ( boo I'm not one of them haha)

One of the more convincing assessments is that of Stanislav Kratochvil (1994), who found that about 6 per cent of Czech women reported ejaculating. Some people even get embarrassed that they feel they wet themselves . So it could be as ' you wish ' is saying a combination of both .. Just make sure you urinate before sex and give yourself a wash before starting . Lol.

And don't feel embarrassed . Take care x

A female reader, YouWish United States +, writes (15 July 2013):

YouWish agony auntActually, it's not exactly from the same hole. We urinate through our vulva, and true female ejaculation is through our vagina via the Skene's gland. They help lubricate the vagina and seem to be triggered by sexual stimulation (i.e. the act of sex). The tissue where it is fills with blood and swells during great arousal (it's homologous to the prostate), so during orgasm, in some women, the contractions push out excess lubricant from the Skene's glands, causing the female ejaculation.

I'm slightly confused as to you saying you empty your bladder. Is that during sex, or are you talking about urinating before sex? Female ejaculation has nothing to do with the bladder, so if you're emptying a full bladder, then it's obviously urine. If this is during an orgasm and you have an empty bladder, it's possible that you did in fact have a female ejaculation. It would smell like urine because it's in close proximity to your vulva, and it may be the scent of earlier urination.

Side note -- I wish bidets were much more common in the US, as it's a much more hygienic way to clean up after using the bathroom than toilet paper is by a mile!

I know it comes from the same place of pee but I'm not to sure if it is suppose to smell like it. It makes sense that is dose since its from the same hole.
