 i think that you should just take the bull by the horns and go over and talk to him. Just be friendly and nice and this will keep a window open for you to approach him again, on which occasion maybe you could ask him to do something.

I agree that you should just go over and talk to him. You might have made him a little nervous, so don't bother wasting time smiling, when you can just talk to him and make it nice and simple.

 It's all in your head! I think you've gotten so paranoid that you've ruined your chances with this guy that you're convincing yourself he is now purposely ignoring you. This isn't the case and you just need to communicate with him. Talk to him, Make conversation.
