Whenever you want to and have a reason to enter a new relationship. If there is someone else who has caught your interest and seems to be interested in you then as soon as the last one is over. There is no reason to overlook a chance at a good thing because of some arbitrary standard. If you are hurting and need tome to heal then you might decide to wait or you could get into another relationship to help you heal. Just don't jump into bed with just anyone to take your mind off of your hurt. You might end up feeling bad about what you did at a later time.

I find that equal time thing that :):):) mentioned interesting. I'm glad that I did not listen to those psychologists when my marriage of 11 years ended. :( :))

Stayc63088 agony auntWhen you are ready. If you are over your ex and ready to have sex then do it. Nothing is stopping you, you are a single lady now. Good luck.

The aunt below is right, it depends on each individual case. I remember reading some psychologists advice of waiting whatever length the relationship was. (e.g a 4 month relationship= wait 4 months) But I guess its all down to how you feel and what you are looking for.

kenny agony auntI guess the time span differs from person to person, and whether you are talking about sex with someone else casualy or in a relationship. If its casualy then ultimately it could be anytime. If it's in relationship terms, and depending on how serious your previous relationship was, and how long you were together i would say about a month, but then thats just me, everyone's different.
