A male United Kingdom age 30-35, anonymous writes:

i really want to be a footballer. i believe that i should be trying to get scouted or play for a team. i have found a trial scheme where you can go and have a trial with other players at first team venues.there are scouts there from the team who plays at the ground and other scouts are there too. i really want to do this but it does cost money. i was going to pay for it myself but i haven't got the guts to tell my parents because they would have to drive me all over the country to different places because i can't drive yet and i want to know what is the best way to tell them because i always backout

please help what is the best way to tell my parents about this?
