 If your not conferable telling someone something, then don't. You should never feel pressured to divulge information for the sole purposes of fitting some standard. In this case the the standard of best friend. Do what your conferable with and if at some point you wish to share the information you will. Until then just tell them you like to be mysterious in your ways.

 I'm in the exact same position you do trust them but at the back of your mind you know that there is that chance that it won't be a secret for very long.If i was you i would definetely have a long think about who you tell cause you might think they are your best friend but you realise if they are not when the school knows who you fancy by the end of the day!!

 They are your best friends.
You do trust them. Don't worry if you can't tell them maybe your just not ready to tell. It took a while for me to feel that i'm ready to tell my best friends who i like.
Some people find it easy to tell their friends who they fancy other's don't.
