What would you say his intentions are?

I have been aquaintances with this guy for like 6 years or so though mutual friends, etc. I just moved about 7 hours south of home and found out he had done the same so I contaced him because I have NO friends down here. I never really looked at him as someone I would date especially because he is good friends with an ex of mine but we actually got along really well and I found myself super attracted to him. We ended up having sex which isn't usually like me but he was so sweet and it just sorta led into it... The next morning he asked me to stay longer but I had to leave and he said "this definitely has to happen again" and he followed me to my car. He called me a few times afterward but he started getting really busy with school all of a sudden and stopped calling but still occasionally texts me to see how I'm doing... What would you say his intentions are?
