writes: hey.. i am a 15 year old guy.. i have little self confidence or should i say little confidence infront of girls.. i wont say i am good looking. i have a question..nearly every week, i hear from my friends about a new girl liking me.. i tend to have many close girl friends and they really mean a lot to me.. they often tell me that they are very comfortable around me.. during camps, they even sleep beside me at night. my friends call me playboy however, i do not get how they came up with this.. can u tell me how people start calling others playboy?? is it cause they are jealous??and, some girls tell me that the girls who like me are in it just cause i am popular.. cause i am my schools soccer captain and in my country, soccer is very popular.. should i believe these statements? what should i do about the girls who are too "obsessed" with me??thanks for helping..HAPPY NEW YEAR!!

 i dont think you should loose sleep over any of this , if they are lying they are just jealous , that is theyre problem , if they are telling the truth, and you are well liked by these girls then there is nothing wrong with girls liking you , most people would be chuffed. and if there are girls who are too obbessed with you and you dont like it simply back away.
if there is a situation you dont like or you feel like the focus of a group of lads teasing , just rise above it and believe only what you hear from the horse mouth

Girls often find that its easier to develop a crush on someone they feel comfortable with as you can get to know someone as friends without any pressure so thats probably why you're popular. In life personality goes a long way so just enjoy the fact that you're lucky enough to have lots of female friends , respect their friendship and if you think a girl is acting obsessed then just make it clear you only want to be friends. When you finally find a girl that you really like and want to date , you'll be ahead of the game because you'll have lots of female friends to ask advice from
