I think it is reassuring that you two know your boundaries regarding being intimate with each other, but you are still unaware of the effect even a little gossip can have on his life.
As a teacher myself I can tell you why he blew up.
If anyone had heard your comment and he replied accordingly he would be marched into the Principals office, sacked , face a discplinary hearing with the Education department and more likely than not banned from teaching again, and this is not even including the humiliation he will have to carry around him being known as someone who tries to seduce a student. So that is why he reacted quite alarmingly, the fault will never be with you as you are under his care.
It is o.k for you , there are no consequences for you flirting with a teacher, but there are severe consequences for him, he can easily lose his career and be disgraced.
Wait till you leave school, then you two can do whatever you like, until then just remember you are playing with fire and you must be aware of what your fellow students are capable of, all it will take is one jealous girl to approach the principal and say that you are having a relationship and boy watch the "s" hit the fan .
So just be careful, no touching, and in 6-7 months you will be able to see him all you want.

(i posted the question.. thanks for the replies... well,)hes 21 and im 17... the most hes ever done is put an arm around my shoulder...completely innocently.. he told me that whilst im in shcool he "wouldnt lay a hand on me, because we both know that it is morally and ethically wrong), i know that he has feelings for me and we get along quite well, even though there is sometimes sexual tension.;....anyways.. the other day i was alone with him after class, and i said a cheeky comment, that had a sexual innuendo, and was quite innocnet, but he absolutley blew up! his exact words were, "god larissa, you frustrate the hell out of me. can you leave?? please??.... please help me.. what happened?

teacher and student relationships arent allowed no matter what age. Don't worry though alot of people have this problem. Teahers and students do get attracted to eachtother but it is forbidden. The furthest you can go with a student is litrely just the student and teahcer relations.
