Question - (26 November 2009) 1 Answers - (Newest, 26 November 2009)
A male United States age 51-59, anonymous writes:

I need to know is there a cure? My girlfriend and I broke up last June. I thought I was fine and over her, I do not want to get back together with her or even see her again. But for some reason I found out that she is dating again and has a new boyfriend and this bothers me. I don't know why. I have a new girlfriend we get along great but for some reason I just want her to have a misarble life. I found out she got fired and I was very pleased to hear that. Because of my job I was able to find out that the person who she is dating is a convitcted sex offender. Opposed to doing the right thing and tell her I chose to say nothing. I don't get it. I am not a mean person and always go out of my way to help others even strangers. But in a way since she broke my heart like she did I only want the worst for her. I have the power to screw up her life for the rest of her life but I have not done that, even though the thought of it brings me happiness. I truely want to forget her and have her out of my mind for good. What is the cure for this?

A female reader, bitch United States +, writes (26 November 2009):

Time. Only time will mend a broken heart and make you not care about her anymore. In the meantime though, you can work on yourself and try to become a beter person despite what you feel like you want to do to get even or to cause her distress. Let her go. Karma will take care of her and also you as well if you do anything bad. Just learn to move on and learn from this experience that not everyday is happy, but it can be producctive and good if you put your mind to doing better things.....
