 Get him a card, or write a cute text to him while he's at work. Then make plans to celebrate on a day you and him have time to get together and do something proper.

 Try a simple picnic in the park a dinner i suspect, be creative as to the menu, like fried chicken and his favorite side dish. Just being alone is all any couple need to celebrate.
