writes:Im slightly confused by a text ive just recieved. Theres a group of 4 of us that usually go out. 3 of us said yeah lets go out this weekend so i text my guy mate who also comes out with us and said "we might be going out this saturday night, you cummin? x" and he text back saying "yeh definately if you are" It sounds good to me but i got so happy when i read it for some reaosn. Its not a reply i'd expect from him, i usually get something like "yh let me knows whats happening"I do have one question thought. Is he saying:yeah if I(me personally) is goingor,,Yeah if you are all going out.I was quite chuffed by that what did it mean? :)

Suppose the poster is called Mary . She wants to know if the boy means .
1) Sure,Mary, I would not miss the chance to spend an evening with you, Mary, for all the tea of China.
or
2) Sure, Mary and Dick and Jane, you are my buddies and if you are going out saturday night why I should be the only one who stays home while my buddies have fun.
Which from Mary's point of view is very different.
Alas,like Bunny said, unless you ask him ,your guess is as good as ours. Better probably because you know him and we don't.
Luckily, time will tell, and pretty soon. Just go out on Saturday and see if he pays attention to you personally or not.

Here's a bizarre idea: why not just ask him what he meant? While I normally steer clear of divining deeper meanings from texts, Facebook, and other related nonsense, I'll make a rare exception and predict that it probably means: If you're going, then I shall, too.
Or you can do that really, weird, old fashioned thing and actually speak real words to the guy and just ask him what he meant.

Well it could be a hint he is interested in you as more than just a member of the group and he is shy about coming out with it for fear of rejection.So just be patient and see if he throws out any more similar hints : eg make sure you sit right next to him in the group and see if his hand strays down to your leg...... If he is interested the physical closeness will turn him on and it might become obvious so check discreetly from time to time for a bulge in his pants :) ! Meanwhile you have time to decide how much you want to encourage him .....

Could be either - no way to tell just from a text.Next time, invite him out just the two of you, and see what his response is. He may be a little hesitant to seem too forward in case you aren't attracted to him. I've been there - didn't want to ruin a great friendship because I was pretty sure she didn't have the same interest in me that I had in her. I lost out on the oppertunity to ask her out.
