A female reader, happytochat Australia +, writes (14 August 2007):

It could mean a number of things. It could mean she seems to always hurt the guys she goes out with and thinks you deserve much more then her. It could mean shes not ready for a relationship, so if she was to go out with you, it just wouldnt work and you would get hurt. It could mean she still has feelings for someone else and going out with you wouldnt be fair and you would get hurt. It could mean a million things really!

Although I know you like her, be glad that she could be so upfront about it :) Seriously...its better to know now and be ab it disapointed then to be seriously hurt later down the track. If only eveyrone else was as self aware and thoguhtful as this girl.

A male reader, anonymous, writes (13 August 2007):

This is meant to be a gentle "I'm not interested". Like "I'm not ready for a relationship", "I don't want to lose you as a friend", "Saving myself for Satan" and other such crap.
