my bestfriend for 3yrs. Yet we got into a heated argument over a lie someone else told..

She and I have only slept together 2 times in those 3yrs.As a guy, i have more respect her than that.

Yet no matter what i say, she won't believe me. My heart is really hurting over this, and it's difficult to even try to talk it out, because it gets heated again...

what do i need to do? i even gave her time and space..

chickpea2011 agony auntHi,

Sorry that you are going to so much pain. Specially, when it's not your fault. The best thing to do right now is to give your friend some time apart so she can cool off a bit. Whatever the lie was, she's hurt, confused and angry. Right now, she won't listen to you or believe whatever you say.

I know it's difficult, because she's your bestfriend for 3 years. Good friends are hard to find. Try to keep yourself busy, be patient and she will come along. I know, when she starts feeling better she will give you a chance go explain. Also, whomever lied, sooner or later the truth always come out and she will know what a true, honest, good friend you are. When that chance come, I know for sure you both will become better friends.

Don't worry too much, everything will be ok. Let's us know how you are doing.

Good luck & feel better.
