I took 3 hpt's the first one a day or two after my bleeding had stopped and I got 2 lines one that was dark and the other one was very faint so I tested again yesterday and the test showed negative So I decided to take another to make sure and this time I'll do it with my early morning urine and again I get two lines the control line and the test line which means positive what are the chances that this is a false positive? And what to do if I start bleeding Like I'm having a period?

Okay thank you I will call in today and see if I can get an appointment set for tomorrow(Thursday) morning or Friday morning I haven't had any bleeding but I know my period is due sometime this week or next week and I haven't had any symptoms of getting it just some clear discharge in my undies that makes me think I've started so I goto the restroom every 5 mins to wipe and make sure. Thanks again for your advice.

Thank you I have another question... What if when I get to the doctor they want to do a urine test but But I already let out my early morning urine and the test doesn't pick up the hcg and they say I'm not pregnant and send me home? And I really don't want to pay 30Dollars for them to draw my blood. According to my last menstrual cycle I'm about 7 or 8 weeks along can I request a ultrasound at this time?

Hi Hunny

Well you did right by doing the early morning urine one as the hGC hormone is the strongest then, Hunny you need to go to your doctor so you can be blood tested as a blood test is better and if you are bleeding inbetween then he/she will need to get you refered to a gynecologist/ Obstetrician...as soon as poss to make sure your health is ok if your pregnancy is confirmed, I wish you luck hunny TAKE CARE WITH LOTS OF LOVE N HUGS MANDY XXXXXXXXXXXXXXX

birdynumnums agony auntYou have had two positive and one negative test. The MOST positive was with your first morning's urine, which is probably the one that I would trust. I think at this point, I would get a blood test to confirm whether or not I was pregnant.
