 Good rule of thumb:Never ever date someone just because you don't want to be single. Your guy friend you've known since the third grade can be a jerk. There are others out there who aren't jerks.Trust me, you will hate dating a jerk more than you do being single. Better to be single than in a bad situation with someone. If you hold out, someone much better will catch your emotions.
