writes:I met this guy over the internet and we started emailing on a Wednesday. We had a lunch date that Friday and liked each other, so we decided to have a happy hour that same day. We kissed after the happy hour. Then I saw the guy Saturday, Sunday and Tuesday each for a few hours. In the meantime we text messaged and emailed a lot. Well today, Wednesday, we had sex. I wanted to wait longer but the chemistry is just crazy amazing between us and I wanted to have sex with him. I am worried that he will think I am too fast or that he won't want to continue a relationship? He told me that he likes me but I am just really nervous about this. I would like any feedback.

I had a similar thing happen to me (in fact if it didn't start on a Friday I would have thought you might be her) and I didn't think she was fast, I think it all happened fast but still at just the right speed for the relationship that it is. I don't think anything bad about her in the slightest and in fact feel very strongly for her.

Granted, in time it is quick, but not in number of dates.
Anyway, if you are too fast, isn't he as well? He had sex with you in a week as well. Double standards are a bitch eh?

 Well from a man's point of view, I have had many similar experiences - many of which also led to relationships that latest months or years. One date that resulted in sex the very first evening led to a 23 year marriage. But I may be a bit unusual in that I'm never just out to get laid and move on - as long as the woman wants to keep going together. It always gets better in my experience.
