writes: me n my girlfriend of more then 5 months broke up the other month. she and MY best mate well one of them are really close, but they have been mates longer then i have with him, but i know they even RING eachother, tlak on msn all the time, and a BOY and GURL cant be friends without something going on can they!! do u think she ended it for him????? she says she aint attratced ot him at all, n i knw he dont liek her, but wud they lie, me n her are on excellent terms thou surely she wudnt get with my best mate.

Girls and guys can definitly be friends. And if they were friends before, then they should be able to be friends now. If you're worried that they might start dating each other, then you could try talking to your friend and tell him that it will make you uncomfortable. But in all honesty, if you two are broken up, then she's pretty much free to date whoever she wants to. (Although in my opinion dating each other would be pretty low them if you still have feelings for her.)
