Two weeks after a guy I went on a couple of dates with decided we should stop talking because he thought I was going to be too high matenence he decided to text me out of the blue and ask if I left my iPod in his car when I've only been in his car once. Was there really an IPod or was he just trying to make an excuse to talk to me?

person12345 agony auntI highly doubt he wanted an excuse to talk to you, I'd just take this one at face value. Someone left an ipod in his car. Just respond "No." and leave it at that.

Tisha-1 agony auntDid he ask you out when he texted you about the iPod? If he didn't, then it's likely it was just about the iPod.

Interesting that he told you that you were too high maintenance for him. I'd take that as a pretty firm 'not interested' and not spend too much time thinking about him any longer.

Does it really matter though? If the guy thinks you are too high maintenance, it's either because you are, or he is too lazy to put forth the effort to date you.
