I've been deleted by a couple of people too, and i agree it hurts. They gave no explanation. There is one person i want to delete though, who is actually a relative. He never talks to me on there, and never meets up with me, so i feel like deleting him.I think the only time you should delete someone is if you dont see them or speak to them.

It's just face book!

I have friend culls all the time. I realised I had a lot of people who could see a lot of personal stuff about me. We never spoke, I didn't care about what they were posting as updates, I got sick of their quizzes, and I just figured they were never really going to speak to me again so what was the point?

If you want to keep your friends then speak to them! Go out for drinks with them! See them in the real world.

There is no point having online friends if you never see / speak to them and never will again.

Good Luck!! xx

If your self esteem is based off of how many friends you have on facebook and whether they delete you, then your lack of self esteem goes deeper than that. You even said that you never really talk to them, so they probably were clearing out the people that they never talk to. I'm sure you're not the only person they deleted. I've deleted people on myspace because they annoyed me by all the bulletins they would post about stupid stuff like washing their hair and going to bed...yes, they literally did that. She wasn't a bad person, she was very nice, but I was tired of her nonsense. And even some old friends that I hardly would talk to or didn't really resond to message, I just deleted them. It's not a big deal.

First of all if you hardly ever talked to them, maybe they feel you just added them for 'numbers' on your face book friend list, maybe they accidentally deleted you, maybe they deleted their fb, maybe they figure you don't really like them because you've hardly talked to them, it could be SO many things honestly. But remember... it's just face book.
