Trouble in Paradise?

A female United States age , *ever Change writes:

My boyfriend is 10 years younger than me.

We have been together for 7 months. We used to snuggle all night long, have sex twice a day everyday but as of late he does not snuggle at all. He was also not too interested in sex the other day.

Has the new worn off.... or should I be concerned that it is something much more serious?

Thank you rythmandblues2 .... that makes me feel better. I am hoping that is the case. He is still very affectionate, but it was odd behavior for him.

A reader, anonymous, writes (24 March 2009):

Well, I wouldn't get alarmed about the snuggling part or a one time disinterest in sex.

If he has stopped kissing you and giving you hugs outside the bedroom, then I think there is a problem......and you may want to try and find out if he is unhappy or something.

I dated a guy that much younger than me for two years and those signs I mentioned happened to us, and we ended up breaking up recently....I think he just wanted to be single and have sex with as many women as he could, he fell out of love with me and I got tired of his immature choices and irresponsibility....so we had issues.

Do you have any issues in your relationship of late that you are having trouble working out? He may not want to grow up and meet your standards.....

But after 7 months, you may just be out of the honeymoon infatuated stage and sometimes men actually want less sex and that is just a sign they are settling into something more comfortable and sweet where they are really getting more attached to you and not only lusting after you.

So it is really impossible for me to say what is going on, you should know by the rest of his actions and whether or not he is still there for you.
