A female reader, anonymous, writes (26 December 2008):

your not pathetic.

maybe no guy has really made you feel that something that you want to do that with him!

I had my first kiss at 23 - and everything else...and the guy turned out to be jerk. Wish i waited, but i had the stupid mind frame that i want to do it and i'd waited long enough. Unless it was just him, it wasn't all that its cracked up to be! lol.

Everyone moves at a different pace! OK so it's unusual but if you're having reservations about going for it, then go for it! Better now than in another 30 years time!

It sounds like you don't have a lot of confidence in yourself, and most people don't find this as attractive as someone with a lot of self esteem! So even if you aren't that confident, fake it! And then when the guys start swamping you then it won't be fake any more, it'll be genuine! You have my best wishes, mail me if anything happens =]

Ashtarot agony auntLife has not passed you by. YOu're only 30. Some people still consider that to be young. I'm 31 and still catching the eye of young guys and I'm not exactly a supermodel. Get out there, chin up and meet people. Other people love people with confidence so if you can show them that you have that they'll be drawn to you like a fly to sugar. Stop feeling sorry for yourself.

A female reader, aunty_rach United Kingdom +, writes (26 December 2008):

there is nothing wrong with it. just don't leave it too long, as it may get harder when it comes to your confidence.

some people start relationships young, i had my first when i was 17 but then my friend who is 23 has never been on a date or been kissed. so it just depends on the person.

A female reader, anonymous, writes (26 December 2008):

i dont think your pathetic. Everyone is different, some people start at a really early age. Some people want to wait until they meet the one. I think more people should be more like you, then be sexually active, at a really young age. Your time will come, and im sure it will be worth the wait :)

not at all! live life the way it is! don't regret anything and keep doing your life just the way you are doing it! However, make sure you start getting some action because then you might regret it! However, simply enjoy life to the fullest *safely!
