reader, anonymous, writes (16 October 2007): I am going into the army myself shortly and have been in the TA for 2 and a half years, but speaking to people who have been in the regular army its not a relationship career and will not work, sorry but thats my opinion, you will only get hurt or alot of playin behind your back!!!

You are right to avoid starting a relationship with a guy about to enter the service. Wait on making any commitments.
