suddenly he seems to be drifting away

Question - (11 May 2007) 1 Answers - (Newest, 11 May 2007)
A female United States age 30-35, anonymous writes:

I've been with this guy I've had a crush on for quite some time, for nearly three weeks now. At first it was easy to talk to each other, but all abruptly he seems to be drifting away from me. Whenever we talk, there's always some slight tension between us it seems. I mean, he told me I am his first girlfriend but I don't quite understand his actions (or lack thereof). I am not sure if it's that I did something wrong... he's the first boy I have been with that I actually feel a spark with, and I do not want this one to dwindle.

eyeswideopen agony auntWhether we want it or not some relationships do just that, dwindle. Especially at your age, but in a way it's a good thing. At least you now have a better understanding of the type of guy who gives you sparks and are a step closer to identifying that special guy when he walks into your life in the future. It's what dating is all about.
