writes: hi everyone, i want your opinion in this matter.i work in a small firm and just lately i got into an affair with my boss, she's a really nice girl.i started to hear multi reviews about this realtionship, some say that i might lose my jop if anything went wrong in our relationship. yet others say that it will help me go up the ladder quick and improves my jop.what do you think guys?

Most the time we just can't control who we fall in love with. The question here is are you willing to consiter a different job. I find it hard to imangin being with someone at work and a home and this aspect of it won't be enjoyable later on. Couples get in to tiffs and it will destract you from your job. Best to you and hope this would work out for you...

 well first of all, its not a good idea to work with someone your in a relationship with. but as for your question both are probably right. being in a relationship with your boss could get you promoted faster but if things go bad in the relationship she could make work very difficult for you. Also if your works policy is against that sort of thing then you could both loss your jobs if someone higher up was to find out, but if you really like her i guess i would say just stick with it, or mabey keep dateing her but find a differant job but thats a little harder to do.

It depends if your firm has a policy against this. More likely your boss would lose the job if this is the case. If she is professional it will not effect your status. Just make sure you are in it for the right reasons and not to use her. That would be wrong in the workplace or not.
