writes: theres this guy he's my x (lets call him will) i still like him even though it was me who ended it. lately hes been sending really dirty txts to my best mate i act like im not bothered but i rly rly am. i havnt told her. yesterday i got back at her though by... uh... being a slut on webcam to this fella(david) who she liked. she didnt know i still liked will. it wasnt fair to do this to her. if she finds out she will kill me. but i have to tell her cx if not tht means i have to lie to her and i have lied to her in the past a lot more than once about things like this. wt can i do ?

 Is she really your best friend? I think you should move on 'cos your relationship doesn't sound to healthy and one or both of you is going to get emotionally hurt by all this.

 Well first of all, showing yourself on webcam is not a good way to get revenge on someone. Moving forward, the best thing you can do now is explain the whole situation to her, and beg for forgiveness. Other than that, the only way out is to keep lying about it.

reader, anonymous, writes (29 December 2005): revenge is never the way you should always think hard before you re-act. you should let her know if she doesn't want anything to do with you after that than at least you'll feel relief that its out. and next time let her know it bothered you that she messaged him cause how was she to know if you don't say anything
