She'll be angry and upset,that's for sure, but if you don't tell her and she finds out from someone else,she'll feel betrayed.
The longer you wait, the more difficult it's going to become to say anything.

I think you should tell her because this guy does sound a bit dodgy - if she has any sense, she'll realise that you're more important than he is and won't have a big fall out with you. If she does, don't panic, she'll come to her senses.
