 Sometimes boys can be awfully shy when telling someone that they like them. He may feel exactly the same as you, he's just not sure how to come out and say it.
You say you two act like a couple when you are out together, does this mean holding hands? kissing? if so then I believe he does like you. However, until you are sure I wouldn't say anything just yet. Enjoy his compnay and make sure you two stay friends but if you become a couple then great.
