writes:I've been talking to this girl I met online for about a month now. She lives in the area, we've exchanged numbers but never talked over the phone. Only texted and IMed. She went to a party and started texting me saying she wants to talk to me, and kept calling me (she was drunk as hell). Didn't think it was right, since well she was drunk you know? Should I talk to her when she's like this?

Then you can call her when she's sober again and have a real chat.
The poor girl obviously really wants to talk to you but is too nervous to call when sober, and you don't seem to be putting in any effort to call her.
If you don't want her to call when drunk then pick up the phone and make the first move.
Why haven't you done that anyway if you like her?
Either that or just call her and tell her you don't really like her like that, you just want someone to text and chat to online.

reader, anonymous, writes (4 April 2009): I say no. When someone's in an impaired state of mind, they may say things they didn't want to say, etc. Then you would have to talk to her about those things later when she's sober! It could just make complications.
