Should I just carry on as normal?

A female United Kingdom age 26-29, anonymous writes:

Okay, so I recently told a guy friend that I liked him. Unfortunately, he said he didn't think of me that way but he thought I was "very cool and funny if not a little weird" (can't necessarily argue with that :P) I must admit, I was a little upset but I am over it now. But I'm stuck on what to do. Should I just carry on as normal? I asked him if we could pretend it never happened and he said okay. I'm still a little baffled because he asked me if I liked him first. The reason I started liking him was because he was so friendly towards him. I am also wondering how he would act towards me know. Is it possible that he could start liking me in the future? Meh, I just need some advice because I just don't know where to go from here. Thanks a bunch! :)

QuirkLady agony auntCarry on as normal. You never know, he might be impressed that you are taking this in stride. Guys like a smart, funny girl who can roll with the punches. If he doesn't step up, another guy surely will! :)

Good luck!
