No,you wont get over your ex. Its unfair to the new guy when you look at him wishing he was your ex. It doesnt work,i know.

No, it won't work. Certainly meet new guys, certainly meet new people, start new hobbies and really throw yourself into your own life. But don't date another guy. You should never enter a new relationship with someone before you've gotten over someone else. Read the posts on here about people who are going out with new people but are not over their ex's. It drags another person into the mess, and that other person always ends up hurt. If you're not over your ex, you need to spend time on your own life by yourself and with friends. Meet new men, as I say. But don't date until you're ready. It will just make things even more complicated for you.
