Should I be mad or is she just nervous about not having a plan for the future besides getting married?

My girlfriend and I have been together for over 6 years. I will be graduating in a few months and will be taking a very good job near where we grew up. I decided to live w/my parents to save money. My gf will graduate the sememster after me. I have been planning to propose at either Christmas or her birthday. We have been through a lot and I love her more now than ever.

Recently I found out that she had filled out all the paperwork to be accepted to the job corps after college. She told them she was interested in a few different locations all very far from where I will be working. We have talked about it and I know she doesn't want to live back home, and I totally agree. I just would have thought she would have included me in her decision to apply. I have told her I don't want to live back where we grew up forever, but I was sort of hoping i could stay at this job for at least a year or two to gain the experience.

I don't want to live apart from her, but I feel kinda upset that she just made this decision without me. She didn't talk it over w/her parents either.

She says she is just applying in case she doesn't have another option and probably wouldn't get accepted anyway.
