writes:okay , there is this guy in my tennis class (he is sooo HOT!) and all my friends say he is in love with me, but we are not sure. i like him, but not a lot. so on wednesday is valentines day and im single and i have no one to spend that day with. So my guy friend told me to ask him out,(i am not shy at all) but im kinda scared he'll say no or that he has a girlfriend or he'll invent some excuse and i'll look like a complete idiot for thinking he'll go out with me. If you want to know we have talked before ,but not too much, just things like :[ i like your shirt[ and [how cool was the game yesterday[ and things like that. My question is : should i ask him out or should i wait for him to ask ME out? and will i look to despertate if i ask him out?

 I dont think it looks desperate at all, there is nothing wrong with a girl asking a guy out at all. As to what you are scared of that is just the risks you have to take. Ask him...you could well make his day!

 i think that if you really like him then you should ask him out and i dont think you will look desperate at all...he might think the same things that you are thinking e.g she will say no and i'll look like an idiot so if one of you doesnt ask the other out then you could have missed out on a really good thing. Just make sure it is definatly what you want first.
